Feature List
On-Board Diagnostics
The AXON is an advanced diagnostic tool, connected to the vehicle diagnostic connector.
The AXON supports all vehicles 1996 and newer, providing information from the vehicle BUS. One of the pieces of information provided is DTC - Diagnostic Trouble Code, which can be monitored via the internet on your home personal computer. Our database of DTC codes will automatically provide you with decoded information. Diagnostic reports will alert you whenever DTC codes or other alerts are present in your vehicle.
The AXON’s main function is to communicate with the vehicle's electronic controllers, retrieve the vehicle parameters and GPS location, and store all information in our database. The AXON can communicate with numerous vehicle protocols and standards including CAN, J-1850, J-1708, J-1939 and K-line, allowing it to be installed in virtually any vehicle on the market. When installed, the AXON automatically identifies with the vehicle’s BUS and starts transmitting data.
AXON will allow you to send commands to your vehicle as well.
Real Time Map Location
- Our web-based application allows you to locate your vehicles on an interactive map and view all vehicle information. This information can be provided to you at any moment from your own personal computer via an internet connection.
- By selecting 'Map' the user will have an interactive map that displays each car's position in real-time.
- Data from each vehicle is updated and sent regularly. The user may also query for present position at any moment by pressing the 'send position request' button directly under the map. In addition, the AXON emits a signal on certain events such as ignition on/off and PRNDL movement. The mapping system also helps notify the user of alerts occurring in the vehicles.
Geo-Fencing
Draw a boundary to receive notification when car drives beyond its permitted zone.
- Immediately discover when a driver is off-track and wasting company time and money. Or simply be alerted when a border is crossed. The Geo-Fencing option allows vehicle managers to set boundary limits for their fleet of vehicles.
- The boundary is easily drawn on the map by clicking and dragging the markers. Setting the boundary in this fashion allows for a very detailed barrier to be set-up. Once any vehicle crosses it’s designated boundary the alert is signaled and the information is reported. AAT records the date and time the geo-fence was crossed.
