Automated Video Upload

In this solution all video is recorded, uploaded automatically and then stored on the AAT system for viewing. Once installed, there is no need to visit the camera in the vehicle for video footage.

AAT WiFi & GPS Camera

These cameras function just like AAT's regular in-vehicle cameras only they have added GPS and WiFi modules with additional logic to record the video and store it until an approved WiFi network is encountered to start uploading the video data.

Setup Local Hub

AAT can assist in preparing a WiFi network to reach the cameras in the vehicles, but once already established; AAT will need to install it's hub that will throttle the downloaded video from the cameras and upload it up to the AAT server.

Viewing the Data

The video recorded from the days trip is automatically uploaded through any local Wifi connection setup at any number of Bases desired. The video data will be stored on the AAT system and can be viewed on a map to see what the driver saw and what driving conditions were like. The GPS coordinates for each video clip are used to plot where the video was recorded

Q: What do I need to do in order to get a quote?

In order to get an accurate quote, please provide us with a vehicle/asset list of what you would like to equip and monitor. If there are any other factors you would like to monitor on certain vehicles, such as driver ID or third-party hardware please do your best to provide that information as well.

Q: How long does installation take?

Installation is very fast and simple whether our devices are hard-wired or plugged into the vehicle diagnostics. AAT has installation services available that can get about 100 devices installed in a few business days. Clients can choose to perform the installation themselves if they prefer and installation training is always free.

Q: Am I able to put some or all of the vehicle's monitoring service on hold?

Yes. Our devices can transmit at any interval and can also be put on hold for periods as short as one month to indefinetly. Simply let your AAT representative know and the adjustments will be made.

Q: How long is the warranty period and what does it cover?

Our Warranty for our hardware is usually 2 years and we'll address any hardware issues at no cost provided there is no physical tampering or damage. We have units in operation that were installed over 10 years ago. Typically we do not like to access vehicles once our hardware is installed. All updates are done over-the-air and when the vehicle is taken out of service the device can be moved into the next replacement vehicle.

Q: Is the Video data encrypted?

Yes. We offer encryption options for the video we store and also for the data we transmit.
